هر چند عمری میشه که چیزی ننوشتم ولی همیشه اینجا نوشتن وسوسه ام میکرد، اونم به فارسی. حالا تا چی پیش بیاد!

پیکاسا Picasa که معرف حضورتان هست، برنامه گوگل برای پیدا کردن، دسته بندی و مرتب کردن عکس های دیجیتال. به علاوه اندکی امکانات ویرایش که جواب بسیاری از نیازها رو میدهد. اگر تا حالا استفاده نکردید همین حالا از سایت گوگل از اینجا دانلود کنید و اگرهم تو ایران هستید و گوگل اجازه نمیدهد از اینجا میتونید بگیرید.

اما نکته جدید اینه که ظاهراً گوگل امکانات جدیدی (از نسخه 3.5) به این برنامه اونم بی سروصدا اضافه کرده و اون قابلیت تشخیص صورت یا face recognition است. کافی است که اجازه بدید پیکاسا آلبوم هایتان را بگردد تا تمام صورت های انسانی را اتوماتیک جدا کرده و به تفکیک جهت نام گذاری به شما معرفی کند. همین کار پیدا کردن شخصیت های تگ گذاشته شده را بسیار آسان و سریع و جالب میکند. هر چقدر در معرفی و تصحیح نتایج کمک کنید الگوریتم دقت بیشتری پیدا میکند. هر چند بین 20 گیگابایت عکس های 5 مگاپیکسلی من، بیشتر از دو روز اسکن پیکاسا طول کشید ولی نتیجه بسیار عالی و جالب و سرگرم کننده بود.

پیشرفت های بعدی در الگوریتم های تشخیص صورت در عکس و کشیده شدن پای آن به فیلم نتایج خیره کننده ای خواهد داشت. به جز کاربردهای خانگی و تفریحی یک کاربرد دیگر هم این قابلیت می تواند داشته باشد و اون کمک به شناسایی اغتشاشگران عزیز وقایع اخیر ! و صد البته اون طرفی ها در عکس های گرفته شده از این دوران است.

"Architects may spend up to seven years completing undergraduate and master's-degree studies, or up to three-and-a-half years in a master's program if they majored in another area during college. To be eligible to take the licensing exam, they also must log three years as interns working for licensed architects.

Well, the same is true here, in Iran, except the loan thing. but you wont well-paid for years, otherwise you are lucky.
